It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in CannX: The International Medical Cannabis Conference, to be held from 12 to 13 February 2020, in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are excited to announce the first edition of the CannX series in Europe!
The flagship CannX 2018 conference in Tel Aviv, Israel was a huge success, hosting close to 1,000 participants from all around the world. CannX Brazil 2018 was also a remarkable event that continues to grow annually. CannX Lisbon follows in the footsteps of these successes, opening the door to the emerging European market.

Europe is poised for change with a recent flurry of activity around medical cannabis reform and legislation, and Portugal in particular, plays a key role in this expanding market. In 2018, the Portuguese Parliament passed new legislation governing the cultivation, extraction, commercial preparation, local distribution, import and export, transit and sale of medical cannabis and medicinal products, preparations and substances extracted from the cannabis plant for medical use. This represents the beginning of a worldwide reform on medical cannabis policy and sets the stage for unlimited potential in medicine and business alike.

There are many medical cannabis events, but none bring together the entire ecosystem for 2 full days of intensive learning, networking and idea sharing.  At the occasion, the European medical and scientific community will have a dedicated agenda and all the support from the organization to freely discuss and organize themselves in order to foster the establishment and diffusion of the cannabinoid medicine in Europe.

The conference will be preceded by a full-day medical course, “Introduction to Endocannabinology and Medical Cannabis,” taking place on Tuesday, 11 February. The course will be offered to all members of the medical cannabis community and will provide the opportunity to learn about the Endocannabinoid System physiology and some diseases of interest that can be relieved by its modulation.

This conference will bring together some of the most important leaders and experts in cannabinoid medicine from all over the world. This will contribute regionally and globally to improve the growing scientific connection in the field.
